HISTORY'S
DREAM TEAM of PROFESSIONAL ARTISTS
ARTISTS
ASSOCIATES (1963-2000)
If
Charles E Cooper had some of the best Illustrators
in the
business then Bill Erlacher recruited
a proverbial Dream-Team
of
the very best of the best Illustrators for his Artists
Associates.
Four of them are already in the Society of
Illustrators Hall of Fame:
Mark English 1983, Robert Heindel
2011,
Fred Otnes 2011, Murray Tinkelman 2013.
One of the
first artists Erlacher recruited for his “Dream-Team”
was
from the Charles E Cooper Studios, Norman Adams.
At
the time Norman was Cooper's most versatile
and probably his most
productive Illustrator.
Erlacher's other artists included
Don
Brautigam, Michael Deas, Michael Dudash,
Steve Karchin, Dick
Krepel, Skip Liepke and Norman Walker.
